  24. If you've ever wondered why people on this planet can't seem to just get
  25. along, you're not alone. While the answer may be as simple as a lot of us
  26. don't like a lot of others of us and want to kill them, and may be as complex
  27. and outrageous as a general state of affairs perpetuated by the ruling classes
  28. in which wars are engaged in to keep the general populace enslaved while
  29. the rich and powerful continue to get richer and more powerful.

  31. As George Orwell satirically wrote: War Is Peace, Freedom Is Slavery.

  33. The following article is from a speech by G. Edward Griffin (called "The Reality
  34. of Money") in which Griffin explains his theory (the Rothchild Formula) of how
  35. the ruling elite use war as a fire that tempers the treasuries of nations and
  36. manipulates the will of the people. While some may discard it as idle rhetoric,
  37. it is an alternative view of history offered here by BeastNet as a public service.

  42. The following is an excerpt from a G. Edward Griffin speech
  43. entitled, "The Reality of Money."
  44.  
  45. ...so I am speaking now as though I were advocating the Rothchild
  46. Formula.

  48. 1. War is the ultimate discipline to any government. If it can
  49. successfully meet the challenge of war, it will survive. If it
  50. cannot, it will perish. All else is secondary: the prosperity of
  51. its citizens and the solvency of its treasury will be quickly
  52. sacrificed by any government in its primal act of self-survival.

  55. 2. All that is necessary therefore, to insure that a government
  56. will maintain or expand its debt is to involve it in war, or the
  57. threat of war. THe greater the threat and the more destructive the
  58. war, the greater the need for debt.

  61. 3. To involve a country in war, or the threat of war, it will be
  62. necessary for it to have enemies with credible military might.
  63. Now, if such enemies already exist, all the better. If they exist,
  64. but lack the military strength, it will be necessary to provide
  65. them the money to build their war machine. If an enemy does not
  66. exist at all, then it will be necessary to create one by financing
  67. the rise of a hostile, warlike regime.

  70. 4. The ultimate obstacle is a government which refuses to finance
  71. its wars through the 'Mandrake mechanism.' Although this seldom                
  72. happens, when it does, it will be necessary to encourage political
  73. opposition, insurrection, or revolution to replace that government
  74. from the inside with one that will. The assassination of heads of 
  75. state will play an important role in this process.

  78. 5. No nation can be allowed to remain militarily stronger than
  79. its adversaries, for that could lead to peace and a reduction of 
  80. debt. To accomplish this balance of power, it may be necessary 
  81. to finance both sides of the conflict. Wherever possible, neither
  82. side should be allowed a decisive victory or defeat. THE OBJECTIVE
  83. IS PERPETUAL WAR.
